1. Introduction

Welcome to Neurotren (the “App”), operated by Oksana Omelchenko, Sole Proprietor, located in Kyiv, Ukraine (“we,” “our,” or “us”).

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Neurotren mobile application, our website at neurotren.com (the “Site”), and related services (together, the “Services”).

By using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

2. Eligibility and Age

You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country of residence if that age is higher than 16, to create an account or use the Services.

By using Neurotren, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. We do not knowingly permit use by anyone below the applicable minimum age; see Section 11 of our Privacy Policy for how we handle this if discovered.

3. Nature of the Service — Important Health & Wellness Disclaimer

Please read this section carefully.

Neurotren provides gamified cognitive-training exercises intended for general wellness, entertainment, and self-improvement purposes only.

Neurotren is NOT:

• a medical device;
• a diagnostic, screening, or clinical assessment tool;
• a treatment for any medical, psychological, neurological, or cognitive condition;
• a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or psychiatric advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Any scores, streaks, badges, or metrics shown in the App — including the “Cognitive Debt Score” and category performance rings — are self-reported and derived solely from your own activity and self-assessment answers within the App. They are not validated clinical instruments, are not based on neuropsychological testing, and must not be interpreted as a measurement of your actual cognitive health, cognitive decline, or risk of any condition.

We make no claims that using Neurotren will improve real-world cognitive performance, prevent cognitive decline, or produce any specific health outcome, and no such claims should be inferred from marketing, in-app copy, or user testimonials.

If you have concerns about your cognitive health, memory, attention, or any related condition, please consult a qualified healthcare professional. Do not use Neurotren, or delay seeking care, based on anything shown in the App.

4. Onboarding Self-Assessment

During onboarding, the App may ask you to self-report information about your habits, such as your frequency of AI tool use, your confidence performing tasks without them, and how often you try new things versus experience routine in your day-to-day life. These questions are self-report only, are not a clinical or psychological assessment, and are used solely to personalize your in-app experience (see our Privacy Policy for details on how this data is used and retained).

5. Account Registration

You may create an account using email/password, Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, or use the App anonymously with limited functionality. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

6. Subscriptions, Payments, and Refunds

Neurotren offers auto-renewing subscriptions (Monthly and/or Yearly plans). There are no one-time purchases or consumable in-app purchases.

• All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store and RevenueCat.
• Prices are displayed in your local currency as shown by the App Store and may vary by region.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in accordance with Apple's subscription terms.
• Billing, renewals, cancellations, and refund requests are handled directly by Apple, per Apple's own policies. We do not process payments or issue refunds directly.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings.

Free Trial. New subscribers may be offered a 3-day free trial on Monthly or Yearly plans. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, you will be automatically charged the full subscription price. Trial eligibility is determined by Apple and limited to one trial per Apple ID across all offer types.

7. Free vs. Premium Features

Free accounts receive one daily “Neuro” exercise. Premium subscribers receive the daily Neuro exercise plus additional rotating exercise categories. Feature availability may change over time; we will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes to premium benefits.

8. Friends & Social Features

The App allows you to connect with other users via referral/invite codes. If you accept a friend connection, that friend may see limited information about your activity, such as whether you completed your daily exercise and your current streak. You control who you connect with, and you may remove connections at any time in the App.

User-Generated Content & Community Standards. Neurotren has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. Users may report or block other users directly within the Friends feature. We review reports and act within 24 hours, including content removal and account suspension where warranted.

9. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• misuse, disrupt, or attempt to interfere with the App's operation;
• attempt to circumvent subscription, payment, or access controls;
• use the App for any unlawful purpose;
• attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the App's underlying content banks or source code.

Violation of these rules may result in suspension or termination of your account.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, exercise banks, UI design, and related materials within the App and Site are the intellectual property of Neurotren / Oksana Omelchenko. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, resell, or commercially exploit any materials from the Services.

11. Data and Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and which third-party services (such as Firebase, RevenueCat, PostHog, and Sentry) we rely on. By using the Services, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Neurotren, its owner, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from:

• use of, or inability to use, the Services;
• any decision made in reliance on in-app scores, streaks, or self-assessment content;
• technical errors, data loss, or service unavailability.

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you breach these Terms. You may delete your account or uninstall the App at any time; see the Privacy Policy for how to request deletion of your data.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved through binding arbitration or, if unavailable, in the competent courts of Kyiv, Ukraine. You waive any right to participate in class-action proceedings, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect once published in the App or at neurotren.com/terms. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
